Whinfell School is situated across two sites in Kendal, Cumbria. It serves as both a home and school for students with outstanding facilities designed to foster learning, progress, and personal growth.
We have a proud tradition of supporting students aged 11-19 with Asperger’s Syndrome (high-functioning Autism) and Complex Needs, helping them gain life skills, qualifications, and confidence for independence.
We seek committed, empathetic, and engaging care/support workers to deliver positive behaviour support, empowering our young people to make meaningful changes, develop self-regulation skills, and achieve lifelong independence.
This role involves working collaboratively with trained professionals across our multidisciplinary team within a successful educational organization.
Successful applicants will be rewarded with the opportunity to complete a Level 3 Health and Social Care qualification and receive full training for career and personal development.
Sleep-in allowance of approximately £[amount] per annum – based on 2 sleep-ins per month.
