• Experience as a Residential Support Worker, Support Worker, or similar role.
• Experience supporting children aged 8-18.
• 1 year experience in a children's home preferred.

An opportunity has arisen for a Residential Support Worker to join a well-established provider of residential care services for children and young people.

This role can be full-time or part-time, offering a salary up to £13 per hour and benefits.

As a Residential Support Worker, you will be supporting young residents with daily living, helping them build confidence and independence in a safe setting.

They are looking for multiple candidates.

You will be responsible for:

1. Providing day-to-day care and emotional support to children and young people
2. Promoting a safe, nurturing, and homely environment
3. Contributing to care planning and recording accurate documentation
4. Supporting educational and recreational activities
5. Maintaining cleanliness and household routines, including meal preparation
6. Acting as a positive role model and supporting individual development

What we are looking for:

1. Previously worked as a Residential Support Worker, Support Worker, Childcare Worker, Care worker or in a similar role.
2. Experience supporting children or young people, from ages 8-18.
3. 1 year experience in children's home is preferred.
4. Must be aged 21 or over due to regulatory requirements.
5. Enhanced DBS and compliance checks required.
6. Willing to commute.

Hours available:

1. Full-time: up to 160 hours per month
2. Part-time: 31 hours per week
