SHAPE is an organisation that supports young women between the ages of 18 – 25-year-olds who have experienced various forms of abuse, as well as supporting pregnant women and first-time mothers with babies.
Our aim, through our holistic and person-centred approach, is to support our clients in achieving their potential by empowering them through education, training, mentoring, and counselling. We focus on supporting pregnant women and first-time mothers with babies, enabling them to build self-esteem and self-confidence, fulfill their aspirations and dreams, function effectively in the wider community, and make positive contributions to society.
We are pleased to offer a position on a fixed-term contract for the right female worker (Equality Act 2010/Employment Act 1996, Schedule 3, Appendix 2) to join our well-established support team as a dedicated worker. The role involves supporting young women who have been marginalized and victimized due to breakdowns in their domestic situations.
We are seeking an individual with experience working with young women, who is highly motivated, caring, passionate, and familiar with health and social care best practices, and who wants to make a difference in the lives of young people.
