Job summary

Fawkes & Reece are recruiting an experienced Site Manager for a large residential development in Wigan. You will lead the site team on a 160‑unit timber frame scheme, oversee day‑to‑day construction operations and ensure delivery to the required quality and safety standards.

You will work with the Contracts Manager and project team to achieve targets, drive progress across plots and maintain programme integrity on an ongoing basis.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Site Manager on residential builds.
• Experience managing traditional and timber frame developments.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Focus on quality, health, safety and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Take day‑to‑day responsibility for the site and manage subcontractors and trades.
• Plan and monitor build progress to meet programme targets.
• Ensure plots progress efficiently and uphold NHBC standards.
• Lead site inductions, toolbox talks and site briefings.
• Maintain high standards of site presentation and housekeeping.
• Coordinate with Contracts Manager and project team to hit milestones.
