Job summary

Untypical Limited is seeking a Site Manager for a permanent role at The High Street, Arlesey. You will lead the site team, manage pre-construction and construction activities, and ensure safety, quality and programme delivery in line with our standards.

The role requires experience overseeing residential development, strong leadership, and a proven ability to coordinate multiple contractors while maintaining costs and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 6 in Construction Site Manager or equivalent.
• CSCS – Black Management/White Academic.
• SMSTS
• First Aid at Work
• Environment Supervision in Construction Training – SSP (SEATS)
• NHBC or /LABC/Premier standards knowledge
• Proven record of overseeing a programme of residential development
• Managing Contractor agreements and liaising with Contractor Supervisors
• Experience of achieving KPIs and client/stakeholder requirements in a PFI environment
• Full UK Drivers Licence

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a Site Team during pre-construction and construction phases.
• Ensure service delivery meets financial targets and operates within the budget.
• Ensure on-site compliance with Health and Safety standards, NHBC standards, and Building Regulations.
• Oversee quality control procedures to rectify defects without cost/time impacts.
• Coordinate labour and resources to deliver the build programme and manage trades.
• Conduct plot inspections with NHBC/local inspectors and take corrective action.
