Job summary

Barchester Healthcare is recruiting a Residential Senior Carer to lead a care team in a warm, person-centred home in the United Kingdom. You’ll train staff, supervise shifts, and share decision-making to support residents’ wellbeing with dignity and respect.

You’ll administer and order medications, review care plans and risk assessments, and coordinate with GPs, district nurses and families. A clear pathway for career development is offered through ongoing training and recognition schemes.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care.
• Experience in residential care with proven team leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of care staff, including training and supervision on shift.
• Administer and order medication for residents.
• Review and update resident care plans and risk assessments.
• Liaise with GPs, district nurses and residents' families.
• Maintain a warm, welcoming and dignified environment for residents.
