Barchester Healthcare is seeking a Residential Senior Carer at a care home in the United Kingdom. You will lead a team of care staff, delivering quality, person-centred care and supporting residents’ daily needs.

You will manage training, supervise shifts, liaise with GPs and district nurses, and ensure care plans and risk assessments are up to date while maintaining a warm, welcoming environment.

Competenze

• NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care.
• Previous experience in a residential care setting and proven team leadership.
• Ability to make appropriate decisions to support residents’ needs and wellbeing.
• Warm-hearted, compassionate and committed to individualised resident care.

Mansioni

• Lead and supervise care staff on shift, including training and delegating duties.
• Assist with administering and ordering medications.
• Review and update resident care plans and risk assessments.
• Liaise with GPs, district nursing teams and residents' family members.
