Job summary

Barchester Healthcare Homes Limited is seeking a Residential Senior Carer to lead a team of care staff in a busy care home. You’ll train, supervise, delegate on shifts, and assist with medication administration while ensuring personalised, dignified care for each resident.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a care team in a residential setting.
• Ability to make appropriate decisions to support residents.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training and development.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise care staff on shifts.

• Review and update resident care plans and risk assessments.
• Coordinate with GPs and district nursing teams, and liaise with residents' families.
