Job summary

Barchester Healthcare is seeking a Residential Senior Carer for one of our care homes in the United Kingdom. You will lead a team of care staff, deliver person-centred care, and ensure high standards of dignity and wellbeing for residents.

You will administer and order medications, review care plans and risk assessments, and liaise with GPs, district nurses and residents' families. The role offers ongoing training and clear progression paths within our care community.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care required.
• Experience in a residential care setting essential.
• Proven team leadership skills and ability to make appropriate decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of care staff on shift and oversee care delivery.
• Administer and order medications as part of resident care.
• Review and update resident care plans and risk assessments.
• Liaise with GPs, district nursing teams and residents' families.
