Job summary

Barchester is seeking a Bank Residential Senior Carer to lead a care team in a welcoming home, ensuring high-quality, person-centred support. The role includes training staff, supervising shifts and coordinating medication administration with the wider care team to safeguard residents’ wellbeing.

The ideal candidate will have NVQ Level 3 or above in Health & Social Care, plus proven leadership in residential care and a compassionate approach to tailored resident care.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care required.
• Proven team leadership experience in a residential care setting.
• Warm-hearted, compassionate with commitment to personalised resident care.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of care staff, including training, supervision and shift delegation.
• Administer and order medication; review and update resident care plans and risk assessments.
• liaise with GPs, district nurses and resident families to support wellbeing.
