Bennett & Game Recruitment Ltd in Maidstone, Kent is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage residential projects from cost planning through final accounts with site travel as required.

The role offers a salary between £45,000 and £60,000 per year, car package after probation, 28 days’ holiday, a company pension, and ongoing training with clear career progression in a growing family-run contractor.

Qualificações

• Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline
• Experience on residential projects in a design & build environment
• Strong procurement, cost management and contract administration knowledge
• Experience with JCT and Design & Build contracts

Responsabilidades

• Take full commercial responsibility for residential projects from cost planning to final accounts
• Prepare cost estimates, Bills of Quantities and tender documents
• Procure materials and subcontractor packages with value for money
• Manage valuations, variations and financial reporting
• Carry out cost analysis and value engineering to optimise budgets
• Maintain robust cost control and accurate forecasting
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors and project teams
• Provide regular commercial updates to senior management
