Job summary

Bennett & Game Recruitment Ltd in Warrington is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead commercial delivery on a varied portfolio of construction projects. You will manage pre and post-contract activities, cost planning, procurement, and final accounts, while mentoring junior staff.

The role offers hybrid working (typically 1 day per week from home), a salary of £55,000–£65,000, and strong long-term career progression within a growing team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally at Senior QS level or ready to progress.
• Experience across pre- and post-contract Quantity Surveying.
• Strong ability to manage projects and commercial delivery with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Deliver full pre and post-contract Quantity Surveying services across a varied project portfolio.
• Take commercial responsibility for projects from inception through to final account.
• Prepare estimates, cost plans, Bills of Quantities, tender documentation and financial reports.
• Manage procurement, subcontract packages, valuations, variations and final accounts.
• Provide commercial advice and support to clients and project teams.
• Attend client and project meetings and develop strong working relationships.
• Support, mentor and develop junior and mid-level Quantity Surveyors.
