Job summary

Bellway PLC in Milton Keynes is recruiting a Quantity Surveyor to manage commercial aspects of developments. You will control budgets, valuations, cost-to-complete exercises and subcontractor payments, ensuring documentation aligns with policy.

You will liaise with the Commercial Manager and attend reviews with management and contractors, travelling to sites as required. DBS and background checks apply.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Surveyor with a residential house builder.
• HND/HNC Building Studies; GCSE Grade C/4+ in English and Maths.
• Current CSCS card or equivalent is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare budgets and site start budgets for each site.
• Produce quarterly valuations and cost-to-complete exercises.
• Manage sub-contractor payments, orders and final accounts.
