Job summary

William James Recruitment is helping a well-established North West law firm recruit a Residential Property Lawyer in Manchester. You will manage a full conveyancing caseload with autonomy, supported by a Partner, in a hybrid working environment.

The role offers flexible, high-quality work and opportunities for progression, with exposure to building safety act matters and lender/investor transactions. A 2+ years' PQE solicitor, CILEx or licensed conveyancer is sought.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor, CILEx or Licensed Conveyancer with approx. 2+ years PQE.
• Experience running a full residential conveyancing caseload independently.
• Strong knowledge across sales, purchases, remortgages and transfers of equity.

Responsibilities

• Manage a full caseload of residential conveyancing from instruction to completion.
• Handle freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, including Building Safety Act matters.
• Handle auction sales, bridging finance, remortgages, transfers of equity and new build transactions.
• Advise private clients, property investors and lenders.
• Liaise with clients, agents, brokers and other solicitors to keep transactions moving.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and risk requirements.
• Provide clear, practical and commercial advice.
• Mentor junior colleagues.
