Job summary

G2 Legal Limited is seeking a qualified Residential Property Solicitor to join its Solihull team. You will manage a full conveyancing caseload from instruction through post-completion, handling sales, purchases, remortgages, and equity releases.

The role requires strong technical knowledge of residential conveyancing, with a focus on freehold/leasehold transactions and client-care excellence. Hybrid working and a supportive, ambitious department are offered.

Qualifications

• A qualified Solicitor status, CILEX qualification, Licensed Conveyancer status, or equivalent fee-earning experience within residential property
• Proven experience managing a residential conveyancing caseload independently
• Strong technical knowledge of residential conveyancing procedures and processes
• Good understanding of freehold and leasehold transactions
• Excellent client care and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Manage a full residential conveyancing caseload from instruction to post-completion
• Handle residential sales and purchases
• Oversee remortgage transactions and equity releases
• Manage transfer of equity transactions and matrimonial transfers
• Review freehold and leasehold titles and provide guidance to junior staff

Residential Property Solicitor – Solihull

Location: Solihull

Job Type: Permanent, Full Time

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:15pm (1-hour lunch break)

Our client is seeking a qualified and experienced Solicitor or Residential Property Fee Earner to join its expanding Residential Property Department based in its Solihull office.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for managing a full residential conveyancing caseload from initial instruction through to post-completion, including:

• Residential sales and purchases
• Remortgage transactions
• Equity release matters
• Transfer of equity transactions
• Matrimonial transfers
• Reviewing and checking freehold and leasehold titles
• Providing guidance, support, and training to Conveyancing Assistants

About You

As the successful candidate, you will have:

• A qualified Solicitor status, CILEX qualification, Licensed Conveyancer status, or equivalent fee-earning experience within residential property
• Proven experience managing a residential conveyancing caseload independently
• Strong technical knowledge of residential conveyancing procedures and processes
