HCB Solicitors Limited is recruiting a Post Completions specialist to join the Residential Property team at our Redditch office. The role focuses on handling post-completion tasks, SDLT submissions, notices to management companies, registrations, and file closures.

Qualifications

• Post-completion experience in residential property matters (preferred).
• Familiarity with SDLT submissions, HMRC portals and Land Registry processes.

Responsibilities

• Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) submissions through the HMRC platform and payment on completion (if required).
• Liaising with managing agents, management companies and landlords to serve Notices per LPE1/FME1.
• Submit AP1 via HM Land Registry portal within priority period.
• Submit First Registration (FR1 and DL) to Land Registry by post within priority period.
• Maintain accurate case records and monitor progress of applications.
• Respond to requisitions raised by the Land Registry.
• Update Lender Exchange and LMS portals.
• Respond to queries from mortgage lenders and clients on progress of registrations.
• Monitor and chase clients/solicitors for outstanding documentation.
• Send completed registrations to clients with deeds and documents.
• Send completed registrations to lenders not on portals with original documents.
• Deal with client ledger balances and case closures in the CMS.
