Service Care Legal are recruiting on behalf of a well-established Local Authority in South West London seeking an experienced and motivated Residential Lawyer to join our dynamic legal team on a part-time basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong background in residential conveyancing and development plot sales. As a key member of the team, you will be advising clients on all aspects of residential development, including acquisitions, disposals, lease extensions, and the variation of restrictive covenants.

Please note this role requires office attendance 2 days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing expert legal advice on residential conveyancing matters, including acquisitions, disposals, lease extensions, and variation of restrictive covenants.
• Handling residential development plot sales and advising clients on all related aspects of the transaction.
• Supporting residential transactions and ensuring legal compliance in a variety of development projects.
• Working with clients to navigate the complexities of residential development, including negotiations and drafting documents.
• Using case management systems for the effective management of cases and accurate time recording.
• Experience in dealing with new developments and plot sales.
• A background in advising on local authority land dealings (although this is not essential).
• A private practice background is also welcomed for the right candidate.
• Strong IT skills, including proficiency in case management systems and time recording tools.
