Job summary

Reed is seeking a Residential Property Conveyancing Executive for our Sutton, Surrey office. You will manage a full caseload from instruction to completion, handling freehold and leasehold transactions, remortgages, and transfers of equity.

The role offers hybrid working and a competitive salary (£50,000-£65,000) depending on experience, with strong client, lender and agent liaison to drive transactions and growth in a well-established South East firm.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Licensed Conveyancer.
• Experience managing a residential conveyancing caseload independently.
• Strong technical knowledge of residential property transactions.
• Excellent communication and client care skills.
• Organised and proactive approach to managing workloads.

Responsibilities

• Manage a full caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion.
• Handle freehold and leasehold sales and purchases.
• Advise on remortgages and transfers of equity.
• Deal with new build and shared ownership transactions.
• Liaise with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other solicitors to ensure transactions progress efficiently and proactively.
• Develop and maintain strong client and referrer relationships.
• Support departmental growth and business development activities where appropriate.

Due to continued growth within its Property department, an opportunity has arisen for a Residential Property Solicitor to join the firm's successful Sutton office. This role offers a strong referral network, an established client base, and flexible hybrid working arrangements.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Managing a full caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion.
• Handling freehold and leasehold sales and purchases.
• Advising on remortgages and transfers of equity.
• Dealing with new build and shared ownership transactions.
