NPA Recruit is seeking a Conveyancer to manage residential property transactions in Skipton, North Yorkshire. You will verify titles, draft contracts, coordinate with buyers, sellers, lenders and agents, and ensure smooth, compliant transactions from instruction to completion.

Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years PQE in residential property and hold a valid practising certificate. The role offers a competitive salary, a £1,000 signing bonus, and a requirement of 3–4 office days per week.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years PQE in residential property.
• Qualified with a valid practising certificate.

Responsibilities

• Verify property titles for ownership, restrictions, and disputes.
• Draft and review contracts, deeds, and legal documents for transactions.
• Coordinate with buyers, sellers, lenders and agents for seamless processes.
• Conduct local authority, Land Registry, and environmental searches.
• Manage fund transfers and ensure compliance with legal protocols.
• Advise clients on legal obligations, risks, and transaction steps.
• Oversee contract exchanges to confirm binding agreements.
• Ensure compliance with legal standards to protect clients.
• Finalise settlements, pay Stamp Duty, and register the property.
• Resolve disputes and issues during conveyancing.
• Maintain detailed records for compliance and reference.
