Job summary

NPA Recruit is seeking a Conveyancer in Preston, Lancashire, to handle residential property transactions. The role requires verification of titles, drafting and reviewing contracts, and coordinating with buyers, sellers, lenders, and agents.

The ideal candidate has a valid practising certificate and at least 2 years of PQE in residential property. A signing bonus of £1000 is offered, with four days in-office work per week.

Qualifications

• Qualified with a valid practicing certificate.
• Minimum 2 years PQE in Residential Property.

Responsibilities

• Verify property titles for ownership, restrictions, and disputes.
• Draft and review contracts, deeds, and legal documents for transactions.
• Coordinate with buyers, sellers, lenders, and agents for seamless processes.
• Conduct local authority, Land Registry, and environmental searches.
• Manage fund transfers and ensure compliance with legal protocols.
• Advise clients on legal obligations, risks, and transaction steps.
• Oversee contract exchanges to confirm binding agreements.
• Ensure compliance with legal standards to protect clients.
• Finalise settlements, pay Stamp Duty, and register the property.
• Resolve disputes and issues during conveyancing.
• Maintain detailed records for compliance and reference.
• Collaborate with banks for mortgage approvals and payments.
