Job summary

Mears Group is recruiting a skilled Painter & Decorator for our Leeds team, handling repairs and maintenance in residential properties. The role covers damp and mould remediation, ensuring high-quality finishes in occupied and void properties.

Key duties include painting, replacing ceiling tiles, material efficiency, and delivering excellent resident service while adhering to safety policies. A UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Painting & Decorating trade environment.
• Full UK driving licence is required.
• City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in Painting & Decorating.

Responsibilities

• Undertake painting and decorating repairs and maintenance works.
• Support damp and mould remediation programmes.
• Replace ceiling tiles and associated decorative finishes where required.
• Ensure effective and efficient use of materials and products.
• Complete work to a high standard and within agreed timescales.
• Use a PDA to receive and complete work orders.
• Maintain company vehicle, tools and equipment responsibly.
• Deliver excellent customer service when working within residents' homes.
• Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies.

Skills
