Mears Group PLC is seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our Leeds team. The role covers residential properties, including damp and mould remediation, across Leeds and surrounding areas.

You will deliver high-quality repairs and decorating work, maintain vehicles and equipment, and provide excellent service to residents. The role requires City & Guilds or equivalent qualification, proven decorating experience, a full UK driving licence, and the ability to work independently within

Qualifications

• City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in Painting & Decorating.
• Proven experience in a Painting & Decorating trade environment.
• Experience of working with damp and mould issues.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsabilités

• Undertake painting and decorating repairs and maintenance works.
• Support damp and mould remediation programmes.
• Replace ceiling tiles and associated decorative finishes where required.
• Ensure effective and efficient use of materials and products.
• Complete work to a high standard and within agreed timescales.
• Use a PDA to receive and complete work orders.
• Maintain company vehicle, tools and equipment responsibly.
• Deliver excellent customer service when working within residents' homes.
• Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies.
