Job summary

Mears Group in Leeds is seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to carry out high-quality repairs and maintenance in residential properties. You will work across Leeds and surrounding areas, delivering painting and decorating work in occupied and void homes.

You will contribute to damp and mould remediation projects, ensure efficient use of materials, and maintain company vehicles and tools. A driving licence and strong customer service are essential.

Qualifications

City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in Painting & Decorating.
Experience in painting & decorating trade.
Experience dealing with damp and mould issues.
Full UK driving licence.
Ability to work independently and manage workloads.

Responsibilities

Undertake painting and decorating repairs and maintenance works.
Support damp and mould remediation programmes.
Replace ceiling tiles and decorative finishes as required.
Use a PDA to receive and complete work orders.
Deliver high-quality customer service in residents' homes.
Follow health and safety procedures and company policies.
