St Andrew’s Nursing and Care Home is seeking a Night Nurse to join a dedicated team at the Sleaford site. The role focuses on delivering high-standard nursing care, medication administration, and collaborative care planning to residents in a warm, mission-led environment.

You will work with senior staff to ensure residents receive dignified, person-centred care, while meeting training and documentation requirements. A probationary period with a £1,000 bonus is available.

Qualifications

• Qualified nurse with valid registration (RGN/RMN/RNLD).
• Minimum of one year experience in nursing home setting.
• Experience of writing Person-Centred Care Plans.
• Residing within 30 minutes of the Home.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate quality nursing care to residents.
• Support carers to provide personal care and assistance with daily activities.
• Administer medication, write care plans and keep records, and complete training.
• Promote residents' choice, dignity and independence; assist with care team management and update care plans.

About St Andrew’s Nursing and Care Home

St Andrew’s is located in the lovely village of Ewerby (5 miles to the East of Sleaford). The home is set around a lovely old vicarage, which has been selectively extended in keeping with its character. This provides the homeliness that Jasmine seeks for its homes, whilst still providing modern living accommodation. The home provides personal care, including nursing and dementia care, for 42 residents.

Role Responsibilities as a Nurse

• You’ll work with the Home Manager, Clinical Lead and other trained nurses in the Home, to assess, plan, implement and evaluate quality nursing care to ensure the highest standards of care are always delivered to our residents.This should ensure positive outcomes for our residents including, inter alia: no pressure sores, no unavoidable weight loss (or gain), safe administration of medication, and all falls are minimised.
• You’ll support our carers to provide personal care and support with daily activities such as washing, dressing and eating.
• You’ll be responsible for administering medication, writing and updating nursing care plans and keeping accurate daily records, as well as keep all mandatory training up to date and complete additional training as required.
• You’ll be promoting our resident’s choice, dignity and independence and all times and assist with the management of the care team, completing all action plans and ensuring care plans are updated and evaluated regularly.

Role Requirements as a Nurse

• Relevant Professional qualification (e.g. Registered Nurse (RGN / RMN / RNLD)).
• Minimum of one year experience in nursing home setting
• Experience of writing Person-Centred Care Plans
• Residing within 30 minutes of the Home
