Job summary

Leaders in Care is seeking a Home Manager for a well-established residential and nursing home in the Birmingham / Sutton Coldfield area. You will lead a compassionate team, drive improvements in care quality and ensure compliance with CQC standards.

The role requires an experienced care leader with a track record of enhancing patient outcomes and safeguarding best practices, supported by a strong deputy manager and senior leadership team.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Home Manager or senior care leader.
• Proven record of improving quality and CQC outcomes.
• Strong safeguarding and risk management knowledge.
• Excellent leadership and staff development skills.
• Clinical qualification or nursing background advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day running of the home and ensure safe, person-centred care.
• Lead improvements in clinical care standards and resident outcomes.
• Strengthen quality assurance, audits, care planning and documentation.
• Manage safeguarding concerns and regulatory compliance.
• Develop Deputy Manager and wider care team.
• Maintain occupancy, reputation and readiness for inspections.
