Job summary

We Are Footprint in Chester is seeking a Site Engineer – Groundworks to oversee setting out and inspection of residential infrastructure across the North West. You will work from drawings, manage levels and coordinates, and support the site team on roads, sewers and related works.

The role requires strong housing sector experience, proficiency with surveying equipment, and the ability to read construction drawings. CSCS and relevant engineering qualifications are essential.

Qualifications

• Site engineering experience in housing is essential.
• Strong roads, sewers and drainage experience is required.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings.
• CSCS and engineering qualifications required.

Responsibilities

• Setting out groundworks and infrastructure works.
• Roads, sewers, drainage and associated infrastructure.
• Working from drawings and specifications.
• Checking levels, coordinates and line/level.
• QA checks and keeping accurate records.
• Working closely with subcontractors and groundworks teams.
