Job summary
The People Pod in the North West is seeking a Senior Development Manager to lead residential schemes from inception through delivery. You’ll own planning, technical delivery, infrastructure coordination and project mobilisation, ensuring projects are well planned and commercially robust.
You’ll manage technical consultants, coordinate planning approvals (S104, S38, S278), monitor programmes and risk, chair meetings and collaborate with Construction, Commercial and Technical teams to drive value
Qualifications
- Experience in housebuilding or residential development.
- Strong understanding of the development lifecycle and project delivery.
- Proven ability to manage technical teams and external consultants.
- Knowledge of planning, infrastructure and utilities is essential.
Responsibilities
- Lead projects through RIBA Stages 1-6.
- Manage technical consultants and wider project teams.
- Coordinate planning, infrastructure and utility approvals.
- Oversee S104, S38 and S278 agreements.
- Monitor programme, risk and project delivery.
- Support value engineering and buildability reviews.
- Coordinate pre-construction and technical delivery activities.
- Chair project meetings and report progress to senior leadership.
- Work closely with Construction, Commercial and Technical teams.
- Support project strategy and future development opportunities.
