Job summary

Law Staff Legal Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Conveyancing Solicitor to join a busy East London law firm’s Property Department. You will manage a varied caseload of residential conveyancing from instruction to completion, delivering high-quality client care in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with a minimum of 2 years PQE in residential conveyancing and the ability to handle a busy caseload independently, while maintaining accuracy

Qualifications

2+ years PQE in residential conveyancing is required.
Strong technical knowledge of conveyancing procedures and property law.
Excellent client care, communication and organisational skills.
Proactive, commercially aware and able to work under pressure.
Experience using case management systems is desirable.

Responsibilities

Manage a full caseload of residential conveyancing transactions (freehold/leasehold sales and purchases).
Handle remortgages, transfers of equity, and new build properties.
Provide clear, practical legal advice to clients and liaise with agents, lenders and other parties.
Draft and review contracts and related documentation, maintain file records and ensure regulatory compliance.
Contribute to the ongoing growth and success of the department.
