Job summary

Law Staff Legal Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Conveyancing Solicitor to join a busy East London law firm’s Property Department. You will manage a varied caseload of residential conveyancing from instruction to completion, delivering high-quality client care in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with a minimum of 2 years PQE in residential conveyancing and the ability to handle a busy caseload independently, while maintaining accuracy

Qualifications

• 2+ years PQE in residential conveyancing is required.
• Strong technical knowledge of conveyancing procedures and property law.
• Excellent client care, communication and organisational skills.
• Proactive, commercially aware and able to work under pressure.
• Experience using case management systems is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage a full caseload of residential conveyancing transactions (freehold/leasehold sales and purchases).
• Handle remortgages, transfers of equity, and new build properties.
• Provide clear, practical legal advice to clients and liaise with agents, lenders and other parties.
• Draft and review contracts and related documentation, maintain file records and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Contribute to the ongoing growth and success of the department.

A well-established and busy law firm based in East London with a strong reputation for providing exceptional legal services to a diverse client base. Due to continued growth, are seeking an experienced and motivated Conveyancing Solicitor to join their expanding Property Department.

About this Conveyancing Solicitor role:

The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion. You will work in a fast-paced environment and be expected to deliver a high standard of client care while maintaining efficiency and an attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities for this Conveyancing Solicitor role:

• Managing a full caseload of residential conveyancing transactions, including:
  • Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
  • Remortgages
  • Transfers of equity
  • New build properties
  • Right to Buy matters
• Providing clear and practical legal advice to clients.
• Liaising with estate agents, mortgage lenders, solicitors and other third parties.
• Drafting and reviewing contracts and related documentation.
• Maintaining accurate file records and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Contributing to the ongoing growth and success of the department

Requirements for this Conveyancing Solicitor role:

• Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales.
• Minimum 2 years' PQE in residential conveyancing (although candidates with more or less experience demonstrating the required skills will be considered).
• Ability to manage a busy caseload independently.
• Strong technical knowledge of conveyancing procedures and property law.
• Excellent client care, communication and organisational skills.
• Proactive, commercially aware and able to work effectively under pressure.
