Job summary

Clayton Legal is seeking an experienced Conveyancing Fee Earner for a newly created role in Altrincham within a growing property team. You will work closely with two Partners and an Assistant, handling a busy caseload with increasing responsibility as the office expands.

Your caseload will include residential freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, transfers of equity, and some new-build work, with emphasis on delivering a high level of client service from instruction to completion.

Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of residential conveyancing.
• 2–3 years' residential conveyancing experience ideal.
• Ability to manage your own caseload and work independently.
• Excellent communication and client care skills.

Responsibilities

• Support an established conveyancing caseload under a Partner, then take on own increasing responsibility as the office grows.
• Handle residential freehold and leasehold sales and purchases.
• Manage transfers of equity and some new-build work.
• Liaise with clients, agents, lenders and other parties; provide a high level of client service throughout the transaction.
