Tilly Bailey & Irvine LLP in Sunderland is seeking an experienced Conveyancing Fee Earner to join our busy Residential Conveyancing team. You will manage your own caseload and provide high standards of client care throughout the transaction process.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in residential conveyancing, strong knowledge of the conveyancing process, and excellent communication skills. You will be comfortable working independently while contributing to a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience managing a residential conveyancing caseload.
• Strong knowledge of the conveyancing process.
• Excellent communication and client care skills.
• Good organisational and time management abilities.
• The ability to work independently while contributing to a successful team.
• Experience using case management systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Managing a caseload of residential conveyancing files from instruction to completion.
• Handling sales, purchases, transfers of equity, remortgages and other property transactions.
• Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and third parties.
• Drafting and reviewing legal documentation.
• Providing regular updates to clients and referrers.
• Ensuring files are progressed efficiently and in line with regulatory requirements.
