Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of residential property transactions from instruction to completion.
• Handle freehold and leasehold sales and purchases.

• Review contracts, leases, title documents and searches.
• Raise and respond to enquiries.
• Liaise with clients, estate agents, lenders and other solicitors.
• Ensure transactions progress efficiently and within timescales.
• Provide clear, practical advice to clients throughout conveyancing.
• Maintain accurate case management and comply with procedures.

With a strong reputation for providing high-quality legal advice and exceptional client service, the firm has developed a thriving residential conveyancing practice and is now looking to strengthen the team with the appointment of an experienced Residential Conveyancer / Licensed Conveyancer.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced conveyancer looking to join a supportive and forward-thinking team where you will have the opportunity to manage your own caseload, build strong client relationships and play a key role in delivering a high-quality residential conveyancing service. The Role

You will be responsible for managing a varied residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion, providing a proactive and client-focused service throughout.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing a caseload of residential property transactions from instruction through to completion.
• Handling freehold and leasehold sales and purchases.
• Dealing with remortgages, transfers of equity and other residential property matters.
• Reviewing contracts, leases, title documents and searches.
• Raising and responding to enquiries.
• Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and other solicitors.
• Ensuring transactions progress efficiently and within required timescales.
• Providing clear, practical advice to clients throughout the conveyancing process.
• Maintaining accurate case management and ensuring compliance with relevant procedures and regulations.
• Identifying opportunities to develop client relationships and contribute to the continued growth of the department.

About You

The successful candidate will ideally be an experienced Residential Conveyancer, Licensed Conveyancer, Chartered Legal Executive or Solicitor with a strong background in residential property. You will ideally have:

• Proven experience managing your own residential conveyancing caseload.
• Strong knowledge of the residential conveyancing process.
• Experience dealing with both freehold and leasehold matters.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A confident and professional approach to client care.
• The ability to work independently whilst also contributing positively to a wider team.
