Job summary

Sills & Betteridge LLP is seeking a skilled Residential Conveyancer to manage a full caseload from instruction to completion, acting as the main contact for clients, estate agents and lenders. The role emphasises high-quality advice and efficient progression in line with regulatory standards.

You will work within a supportive Residential Property team, collaborating with colleagues and conveyancing assistants, and you will benefit from ongoing professional development and a strong focus on

Qualifications

• Proven residential conveyancing experience and ability to manage matters from instruction to completion.
• Strong client-care and communication skills.
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
• Experience supervising or delegating to a conveyancing assistant (advantageous).
• Qualified in Licensed CLC or equivalent professional qualification is required.
• Comfortable working in a regulated legal environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage a full residential conveyancing caseload.
• Provide clear legal advice to clients and third parties.
• Liaise with estate agents, lenders and other parties.
• Use conveyancing case management systems effectively.
• Meet deadlines and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with conveyancing assistants and colleagues.
• Escalate compliance or risk issues when required.
• Contribute to the performance of the Residential Property team.
