A growing law firm in Hastings is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancing Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or Legal Executive. The role involves managing a varied caseload of residential files and supporting business development. Ideal candidates will have over 3 years' experience in residential conveyancing and strong communication skills. This full-time, permanent position offers a salary between £45,000 and £65,000, providing a supportive team environment with stability.

Formación

• 3+ years’ PQE in residential conveyancing.
• Able to run files independently from instruction to completion.
• Experience with various conveyancing matters preferred.

Job Overview

We’re working with a growing and well‑established law firm in Hastings that is looking to appoint an experienced Residential Conveyancing Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or Legal Executive to join its expanding team.

Base pay range: £45,000-£65,000 (subject to experience).

Responsibilities

• Managing 20-25 new residential conveyancing files per month
• Handling a varied caseload including residential sales and purchases, freehold and leasehold matters, re‑mortgages, transfers of equity, and new builds (preferred but not essential)
• Supporting business development activity where required
• Full‑time hours: 9:00am-6:00pm, Monday to Friday, office‑based role in Hastings

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ PQE in residential conveyancing
• Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or Legal Executive
• Able to run files independently from instruction to completion
• Strong communication and client‑care skills
• Comfortable working at pace in a busy conveyancing environment
