LJ Recruitment is seeking a skilled Residential Conveyancer in the UK to manage a full caseload of residential property transactions from inception to completion. The role requires handling sales, purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, and leasehold matters with attention to detail and compliance.

The candidate should have in-depth knowledge of UK property law, Land Registry procedures, and mortgage lending requirements, along with strong communication and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor, licensed conveyancer, or legal executive with residential conveyancing experience.
• Proven track record handling a varied caseload of residential property matters.
• Strong knowledge of UK property law, Land Registry procedures, and mortgage lending requirements.

Responsibilities

• Handle all aspects of residential conveyancing transactions including sales, purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, and leasehold matters.
• Conduct title checks, review documents, identify issues.
• Draft and review contracts, lease agreements, and related documents.
• Manage correspondence with clients, agents, lenders, and third parties.
• Ensure AML and GDPR compliance and perform land registry searches and applications.
• Provide expert legal advice on property transactions and maintain case records.
