Job summary

Simply is seeking experienced conveyancers, legal executives and solicitors with leasehold experience to join a team of property experts delivering quality service.

You’ll manage a busy caseload of freehold and leasehold transactions, draft contracts and deeds, and coordinate with clients, agents and authorities to ensure smooth progress and compliance. Flexible hours and hybrid/work-from-home options in Cardiff and Daventry are supported.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor, chartered legal executive, licensed conveyancer or highly experienced in residential conveyancing.
• Solid experience in property/conveyancing law.
• Proven experience handling leasehold conveyancing matters.
• Good knowledge of Land Registry processes and title documentation.
• Strong client care and ability to explain complex legal information clearly.
• Ability to manage a caseload and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail with a risk-aware approach.

Responsibilities

• Manage circa 60-65 varied caseloads of freehold sales and purchases, and leasehold sales.
• Draft and review contracts, deeds and other legal documents, providing clear, practical advice to clients.
• Coordinate with clients, estate agents, lenders, local authorities and other stakeholders to progress matters smoothly.
• Maintain compliance with relevant legislation, regulatory requirements and best practice.
• Develop and nurture lasting relationships with clients and agents, delivering exceptional service.

We’re looking for passionate conveyancers, legal executives and solicitors with leasehold experience to join our team of property experts who are committed to quality, service and continuous improvement.

What you’ll do:

• Manage circa 60-65 varied caseload of freehold sales and purchases, and leasehold sales (no purchases)
• Draft and review contracts, deeds and other legal documents, providing clear, practical advice to clients throughout the transaction
• Coordinate effectively with clients, estate agents, lenders, local authorities and other stakeholders to ensure matters progress smoothly and efficiently
• Maintain compliance with all relevant legislation, regulatory requirements and best practice
• Develop and nurture lasting relationships with clients and agents, delivering an exceptional service that inspires trust and repeat business

What you bring:

• Qualified Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive, Licensed Conveyancer or highly experienced in residential conveyancing is a PLUS!
• Solid experience in property / conveyancing law
• Proven experience handling leasehold conveyancing matters
• Good working knowledge of Land Registry processes and title documentation
• Strong client care skills – we strive to communicate complex legal information clearly
• Ability to manage and prioritise a caseload and meet deadlines
• Excellent attention to detail and a risk-aware approach to work
• Competent user of Microsoft Office and case management systems
