Job summary

Connells Group, through Conveyancing Direct Property Lawyers in Cardiff, seeks an experienced Conveyancer to focus on coaching, supervision and quality assurance. You will guide a small team of Property Lawyers, ensuring compliance, risk management and exceptional client service.

The role emphasises mentoring and development, with a strong culture of collaboration and continuous improvement in a supported environment.

Qualifications

• Proven residential conveyancing experience across a broad range of property transactions.
• Excellent coaching, mentoring and leadership skills to support and develop others.
• Strong understanding of conveyancing procedures, regulatory requirements and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Provide mentoring, coaching and supervision to a team of Property Lawyers, supporting their technical development and decision-making.
• Review residential conveyancing matters, including freehold, leasehold, registered and unregistered transactions.
• Conduct detailed file reviews to ensure compliance, accuracy and effective risk management.
• Provide clear, practical legal guidance on complex conveyancing matters and best practice.
• Support the Team Manager with operational oversight, leadership responsibilities and process improvements.
• Promote strong communication, regulatory compliance and risk awareness across the team.
• Work collaboratively to maintain high service standards and positive outcomes for clients.

Conveyancing Direct Property Lawyers, part of the Connells Group, we're looking for a talented Conveyancer to join our growing team in Cardiff. What You'll Be Doing

What We're Looking For

• Proven residential conveyancing experience with strong technical knowledge across a broad range of property transactions.
• Excellent coaching, mentoring and leadership skills with the ability to support and develop others.
• Strong understanding of conveyancing procedures, regulatory requirements and risk management.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Law Degree, LPC, Licensed Conveyancer, Solicitor or FCILEX qualifications are advantageous, alongside experience using case management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
