Responsibilities

The Role

You will manage a varied residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion, ensuring transactions progress efficiently while maintaining excellent communication with clients, estate agents, lenders and other solicitors.

Responsibilities will include:

• Managing a caseload of residential property transactions, including sales, purchases, freehold and leasehold matters.
• Handling files from initial instruction through to completion and post-completion where required.
• Reviewing title documentation, raising enquiries and resolving legal issues.
• Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and other parties to progress transactions.
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, internal procedures and service standards.
• Providing clear, timely updates and delivering a positive client experience throughout the transaction.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to support the wider property team and contribute to the continued success of the department.

About You

Relevant qualifications as a Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, CILEX Lawyer or an experienced conveyancing professional will be considered in line with the requirements of the role.

Business Development

Experience with business development, networking or building relationships with local introducers would be an advantage, but it is not essential. The firm would welcome someone who enjoys developing professional relationships and contributing to the growth of the team, although the primary focus will be on managing a quality residential conveyancing caseload.
