Job description

A Residential Conveyancer is sought by a growing law firm in Greater Manchester, offering a salary between £35,000 and £50,000 depending on experience. This permanent post requires a solicitor or legal executive with at least two years’ PQE. You will handle a diverse caseload of sales, purchases, remortgages, and Help to Buy transactions from initial instruction to completion. The role includes leadership duties, supported by a flexible working arrangement. Candidates with prior exposure to commercial property matters will find this advantageous. Genuine career progression is available for the right applicant.

Residential Conveyancer / 2+ PQE / Greater Manchester / c£50,000 DOE / An excellent opportunity for an experienced Conveyancing Lawyer to join a well established and growing law firm. You will manage a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion including sales, purchases, remortgages and Help to Buy transactions. Experience of commercial property matters would be advantageous, providing additional variety to the role. Alongside managing your own caseload, you will play an active role in supporting and developing the conveyancing team, helping to drive the continued success and growth of the department. This is an excellent opportunity to take on genuine responsibility within a supportive and forward thinking environment.

THE CANDIDATE: Applications are sought from Solicitors, Chartered Legal Executives, Licensed Conveyancers and experienced Conveyancing Fee Earners with a minimum of 2 years' experience managing a residential conveyancing caseload. You will possess strong technical knowledge across residential property transactions and be confident handling matters independently from instruction through to completion. Previous experience leading or supervising a team would be highly advantageous. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent organisational, communication and client care skills, together with a proactive approach to business development, networking and building long term client relationships.
