Job summary

Clayton Legal is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer, Solicitor or Legal Executive to join our Bedford office on a full-time, hybrid basis. You will manage your own caseload of conveyancing matters and provide high-quality advice to a broad client base.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years’ PQE in residential conveyancing and a proactive, client-focused approach. Flexible and hybrid working options are available to support career progression within a supportive team.

An exciting opportunity to join a friendly and established residential property team

We are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious Residential Conveyancer, Solicitor or Legal Executive to join our residential property department at our Bedford office.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced property professional with a minimum of 5 years’ PQE to join a supportive, experienced team, manage their own caseload and build a successful long-term career with the firm.

You will advise a broad range of clients, delivering a high-quality legal service while working collaboratively with colleagues across the department. The role

You will be responsible for managing your own residential property caseload, alongside supporting other fee earners and contributing to the continued success of the department.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Residential freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
• Property refinancing
• Transfers of equity
• Equity release mortgages
• Providing clear, practical and professional advice to clients throughout the conveyancing process
• Managing matters efficiently and ensuring a high standard of client care
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver an excellent service

About you

We are looking for someone who is motivated, client-focused and keen to make a positive contribution to the team.

You will ideally have:

• A minimum of 5 years’ PQE or equivalent experience in residential conveyancing
• The ability to manage your own caseload independently
• Strong technical knowledge of residential property matters
