Job summary

Spectrum Care is seeking a Community Support Worker to assist individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities in Central Auckland. This full-time role involves providing support for personal activities, socialising, and daily living tasks.

The ideal candidate should have empathy, resilience, and effective communication skills. A Community Support Worker Level Three qualification is desirable but not necessary. Competitive hourly pay between $23.95 and $29.10 applies.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting people with disabilities or mental health issues is desirable.
• Must have a valid New Zealand driver's licence.
• Able to pass a NZ police check.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal activities including community participation.
• Provide support and motivation with daily living tasks.
• Ensure the safety of individuals supported.
