Job summary

Strata Consulting in Northampton is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead its residential development team. You will oversee feasibility studies, deliver S38/S104 designs, and coordinate with environmental and geotechnical consultants to ensure high technical standards across multiple housing schemes.

The role requires previous experience with housebuilders or consultancies, an HNC/HND, strong leadership, planning knowledge, and excellent communication and time-management skills.

Qualifications

• Experience leading engineering teams in housebuilding or consultancy.
• Strong planning policy understanding and approval process knowledge.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare viability and detailed engineering designs for site constraints.
• Deliver S38 and S104 designs to adoptable standards for tendering.
• Coordinate with environmental and geotechnical consultants on foundations and contamination solutions.
