Job summary

Keys Group in Liverpool is looking for a Children’s Residential Support Worker to provide a safe, caring home for young people and to be a positive role model in daily life.

We offer full training and progression, require a full UK driving licence and being over 21, with 39 hours per week (08:00–22:00) and sleep-in shifts. Salary £27,200–£28,600 plus £3,200–£6,500 a year from sleep-ins.

Qualifications

• Ability to relate well to young people and participate in activities.
• Full UK Driving Licence required.
• Over 21 years old; flexible to work shifts and sleep-ins.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, caring, and loving home environment for children and young people.
• Act as a positive role model to meet their everyday living needs.
• Participate in fun activities and outings such as football, PlayStation, cycling, and baking.
• Encourage and share hobbies and interests.
• Perform household tasks such as cooking and cleaning.
• Offer emotional and physical support to help children reach their full potential in sometimes challenging situations.
• Build friendships and trusting relationships.
• Empower young people to make decisions about their lives.
