Job summary

Completely Care Recruitment Consultants Limited is seeking Residential Children’s Support Workers to aid residential homes in Kettering with flexible agency shifts. You will provide day-to-day care, emotional support and help children build skills in a structured, safe environment.

The role requires safeguarding knowledge and ideally experience in residential childcare or related settings; unqualified candidates with relevant experience may be considered. DBS checks and references are required.

Qualifications

• Experience with children in residential settings preferred.
• Understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
• Ability to build positive relationships with children and young people.

Responsibilities

• Providing day-to-day care, guidance and emotional support to children and young people.
• Building positive relationships and acting as a positive role model.
• Supporting daily routines, development and independence.
• Promoting positive behaviour and responding calmly to challenges.
• Supporting education, activities and community participation.
• Following care plans, risk assessments and safeguarding procedures.
• Maintaining records and communicating with colleagues and management.
• Ensuring the home remains safe, welcoming and supportive.
