Job summary

SCR is seeking experienced Residential Support Workers for flexible agency roles across a range of residential care settings in the UK. You will support vulnerable children and young people, helping them feel safe, supported and valued.

Role involves providing day-to-day care, building trust, supporting daily routines, activities and personal development, and responding to challenging behaviours. You may work with children with autism or complex needs, following individual care plans and risk

Qualifications

• Experience in residential care settings or similar environment.
• 21+ years old.
• Clean UK driving licence.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts including long days and sleep-ins.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day care and support to children and young people in residential settings.
• Build positive, trusting relationships with young people.
• Support daily routines and individual needs and activities.
• Encourage participation in activities and personal development.
• Monitor emotional wellbeing and respond to challenging behaviours appropriately.
• Follow individual care plans and risk assessments and maintain boundaries.
