Job summary

Trigon Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Residential Childcare Tutor/Assessor to deliver qualifications up to Level 5. The role combines remote delivery with on-site learner visits across the South West, from Plymouth to Bristol, supporting learners through induction to completion.

You will manage a caseload, conduct progress reviews, and coordinate with employers to ensure timely progression. Training for Level 3 CAVA is provided; salary reflects experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification (or above) in Residential Childcare.
• Experience working in Residential Childcare settings.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage a learner caseload effectively.
• Confident using Microsoft Teams and e-portfolio systems.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the South West.

Responsibilities

• Deliver teaching, learning and assessment for Residential Childcare qualifications up to Level 5.
• Support learners from enrolment to completion with personalised learning journeys.
• Conduct initial assessments and develop ILPs.
• Deliver a blend of remote and face-to-face learning and assessment.
• Manage learner caseload and conduct progress reviews with employers.
