Headway Adolescent Resources has established a reputable presence in the residential adolescent childcare sector, focusing on holistic care for young people regardless of background.

We are seeking Residential Childcare Workers to join our residential homes.

Purpose of the Job

Based in a children's residential home, you will work with young people exhibiting challenging behaviour. Flexibility, resilience, honesty, organization, and a commitment to high-quality childcare are essential to help young people achieve positive outcomes.

This permanent role offers excellent career prospects and comprehensive training within an expanding organization. You will work on a shift pattern of days on and off, including sleep-ins. Benefits include allowances for bank holidays, overtime, and a performance-related bonus scheme.

Essential Skills

• Experience working with challenging young people (preferred but not essential)
• Qualified to QCF level in Children and Young People or willing to work towards this qualification (fully funded)
• Ability to work independently, maintain accurate records
