Residential Childcare Support Worker

Salary: Up to £32,375.89 - £33,640.53 (includes sleep ins)

Specific Hours: 38 hours per week

Headway Adolescent Resources, established in 1999, has built a strong reputation in the residential adolescent childcare sector. We pride ourselves on caring for young people holistically, respecting their backgrounds and individual needs.

We are seeking Residential Childcare Workers to join our residential homes.

Purpose of Job

Based in a children's residential home, you will work with young people exhibiting challenging behaviour. The role requires flexibility, resilience, honesty, and strong organizational skills. You will be committed to providing high-quality childcare to help young people achieve positive outcomes.

This permanent position offers excellent career prospects and a comprehensive training program. You will work an average of 38 hours per week on a 2 days on, 4 days off shift pattern, including 2 sleep-ins. Benefits include allowances for bank holidays, overtime, and a performance-related bonus scheme.

Essential Skills

• Full manual driving license
• Ability to work independently with high accuracy and maintain clear records
• Good interpersonal skills and a positive team attitude
• Ability to complete daily records meeting statutory and policy requirements

• Ability to engage, motivate, and encourage young people

Desirable Skills
