KM Recruitment is seeking a Residential Childcare Assessor/Trainer (Trainee or Qualified) to join a field-based role across Hertfordshire. You will assess and support learners on Apprenticeships Levels 4 and 5, delivering online and in-person training with flexible travel.

Candidates must have solid Residential Childcare experience, hold or be working towards an Assessor qualification, a Level 3 NVQ in Residential Childcare, strong Maths and English, a clean UK driving licence, and the ability

Qualifications

• Solid occupational experience within Residential Childcare (Children's Home) as a Deputy Manager or above.
• Willingness to work towards an Assessor qualification (full funding provided).
• Hold a Level 3 NVQ in Residential Childcare as a minimum.
• Confident with Maths and English; GCSEs or equivalent in Maths and English preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assess and support a caseload of learners working towards Residential Childcare Apprenticeships - Levels 4 and 5.
• Support learners with Functional Skills Maths and English to Level 2.
• Manage your diary to ensure timely reviews and meetings.
• Conduct online video meetings and training sessions with learners.
• Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
• Support, advise and motivate learners.

Job Title:Residential Childcare Assessor / Trainer (Trainee or Qualified)

Location:Home/Field based covering Hertfordshire - Must be flexible with travel

Salary: £32,500 - £34,000 (Depending on qualifications and experience)

Essential Criteria:

• Must hold solid occupational experience within Residential Childcare (Childrens Home)as a Deputy Manager or above.
• Hold or be willing to work towards an Assessor qualification (full funding and support provided)
• Hold a level 3 NVQ in Residential Childcare as a minimum.
• Confident with Maths and English and ideally have own GCSE's or equivalent in Maths and English.
• Full, clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
• Must be flexible with travel.

Duties include:

• Assess and support a caseload oflearners working towards Residential Childcare Apprenticeships - Levels 4 and 5.
• Support learners with Functional Skills Maths and English to Level 2.
• Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely reviews and meetings are conducted.
• Conduct online video meetings and training sessions with learners.
• Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
• Support, advise and motivate learners.
• Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner's needs.
