Job summary

Outcomes First Group's Falkland House School Perth is recruiting a Residential Childcare Worker to support young people with autism and additional support needs. You'll help with daily routines, independence, and community activities, while building confidence and resilience.

The role is full-time and permanent (38 hours per week) with a mix of early, late and long shifts on a rolling rota. A Full UK Driving Licence is essential, and induction plus funded training to support SSSC registration

Responsibilities

• Support children and young people with daily routines and personal development.
• Plan and take part in activities after school, on weekends and during school holidays.
• Help access community activities and build life skills.
• Create a warm, safe home environment where young people feel valued.
• Build positive, trusting relationships to support emotional wellbeing.
• Encourage positive behaviour using therapeutic, relationship-based approaches.
• Work with education and clinical colleagues to provide holistic support.
• Maintain accurate records and support safeguarding standards.
